On the morning of 28 September 2026, Tohoku Song Da Joint Stock Company’s Training Centre held its regular weekly student meeting.
The meeting is held every week to review students’ learning, daily routines and conduct, as well as to identify and address any issues that may have arisen during the previous week.
The beginning-of-week meeting gives students an opportunity to look back on the previous week, identify areas that need improvement and set a positive direction for the week ahead.
REVIEWING ISSUES FROM THE PREVIOUS WEEK
During the meeting, the Training Centre reviewed several issues that had occurred during the previous week.
These included late attendance, failure to complete assigned homework and inadequate cleaning of shared living areas.
Although these may appear to be small matters, they can affect discipline and the overall learning environment. Discussing them openly during the weekly meeting helps students understand what needs to be improved and encourages them to take responsibility for their daily habits.
ADDRESSING RULE VIOLATIONS AND RECOGNISING STUDENTS’ EFFORTS

The meeting was not only about reminding students of the rules. It was also an opportunity to recognise students who had made a good effort in their studies.
Tohoku aims to maintain a disciplined training environment while also encouraging students to make steady progress.
Students who demonstrate a positive attitude towards learning, complete their homework and actively participate in their training are recognised for their efforts. This helps motivate them and encourages a positive attitude among the wider student group.
For students who have not followed the rules, the purpose of the review is to help them understand what went wrong, reflect on their behaviour and make the necessary improvements.
ENCOURAGING STUDENTS TO MAKE A GREATER EFFORT IN THE NEW WEEK

Another important part of the meeting was encouraging students to approach the new week with greater commitment to their studies and training.
For students preparing to study or work in Japan, developing good discipline, punctuality, self-management and a sense of responsibility is important.
Learning Japanese and acquiring the necessary knowledge are only part of the preparation. Students are also expected to attend lessons regularly, complete their homework, keep shared areas clean and follow the rules of the Training Centre.
These habits are valuable not only during their current training but also when they later study or work in Japan.
WEEKLY MEETINGS TO SUPPORT STUDENTS THROUGHOUT THEIR TRAINING
The weekly student meeting is one of the activities carried out by Tohoku Song Da Joint Stock Company as part of its training and student support programme.
Regular meetings allow issues to be identified at an early stage and addressed promptly. They also provide an opportunity to recognise students who are making progress and to remind the whole group of the importance of learning, discipline and personal development.
The meeting held on the morning of 28 September 2026 ended with a shared commitment to a more focused, responsible and positive week ahead.
Tohoku will continue to support its students throughout their training, helping them develop good habits, discipline and a sense of responsibility as they prepare for their future studies and careers in Japan.
