ORIENTATION SESSION ON SPENDING, SAVING AND SENDING MONEY HOME

Người đăng: Tohoku Sông Đà Công ty cổ phần - 29/09/2026

Orientation education is a mandatory part of the preparation process for technical intern trainees and workers before they travel to Japan for employment. Through these orientation sessions, workers are equipped with essential knowledge about work, daily life, Japanese culture, laws, workplace conduct and practical skills needed during their time in Japan.

As part of its orientation programme, on 25 September 2026, Tohoku Song Da Joint Stock Company held an orientation session on the topic “Spending, Saving and Sending Money Home While Working Abroad”. The session was led by teacher Hoang Thi Tuyet.

This was a practical topic for trainees, as managing income and using money responsibly are important skills when living and working in Japan.

PRACTICAL CONTENT IN THE ORIENTATION PROGRAMME

Before leaving for Japan, technical intern trainees need to prepare not only their Japanese language skills and professional knowledge but also an understanding of daily life, workplace practices and regulations in Japan.

Personal financial management is therefore an important part of Tohoku’s orientation programme. After starting work in Japan, trainees need to manage various living expenses, including food, accommodation, utilities, transport, telephone services and personal expenses.

Without a sensible spending plan, unnecessary purchases or uncontrolled spending can directly affect their ability to save money.

During the session on 25 September, trainees were introduced to basic principles of income management, budgeting and setting realistic savings goals based on their individual circumstances.

BUILDING GOOD SAVING HABITS

For many trainees, one of the main objectives of working in Japan is to save money for their families and future plans after completing their programme.

To achieve this goal, saving needs to become a regular habit from the first few months of working in Japan.

The teacher guided trainees on how to identify essential expenses, reduce unnecessary spending and set aside part of their income for savings. Keeping a record of income and expenditure can also help trainees understand where their money is going and adjust their spending plans when necessary.

These may seem like simple skills, but they are particularly important for young people who are living and working away from their families for the first time.

SENDING MONEY HOME SAFELY AND PROPERLY

Sending money home is another important topic covered in the orientation session.

For many trainees, part of their income earned in Japan is used to support their parents and families or to achieve financial goals that they set before leaving Vietnam.

Trainees need to understand that money transfers to Vietnam should be made through lawful and transparent channels in accordance with applicable regulations. Before making a transfer, they should check the service provider, transfer fees, exchange rates and any relevant requirements.

Tohoku encourages trainees to develop responsible financial habits, avoid unclear money-transfer methods and never make financial transactions simply on the basis of unverified recommendations.

ORIENTATION EDUCATION – PREPARING FOR LIFE IN JAPAN

Orientation sessions help technical intern trainees prepare more comprehensively before beginning their working journey in Japan.

In addition to knowledge about work and workplace conduct, practical topics such as financial management, spending, saving and sending money home help trainees better understand their responsibilities while living away from home.

Through its training and orientation programme, Tohoku Song Da Joint Stock Company aims to ensure that trainees are prepared not only in Japanese language and professional skills but also in their ability to manage daily life, follow regulations and take responsibility for themselves.

The orientation session held on 25 September 2026 was one of Tohoku’s activities aimed at providing trainees with practical knowledge and skills before they travel to Japan for work.
