Tohoku Song Da Joint Stock Company is pleased to announce the recruitment of students for the Zensho Scholarship Program at Tokyo World Japanese Language School for the 2027 intakes.
The Zensho Scholarship Program is sponsored by Zensho Holdings Co., Ltd., one of Japan’s largest food service groups, operating well-known restaurant brands such as Sukiya, Nakau, Hamazushi, Coco's Japan, and many others. The programme enables international students to study Japanese while working in restaurants within the Zensho Group, helping to reduce the financial burden of studying in Japan.

The scholarship is provided by Zensho Holdings, one of Japan’s leading restaurant corporations with an extensive nationwide network of food service establishments.

Students admitted under the Zensho Scholarship Program will receive:

Students receive a tuition reduction of 300,000 Yen during their first year through the Zensho Scholarship Program.
PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT
Students will be assigned to work at restaurants operated by the Zensho Group, including brands such as Sukiya and Nakau.
Hourly Wage

Approximately 1,386 Yen per hour
Actual earnings may vary depending on the work location, local minimum wage regulations, and the number of working hours permitted under Japanese immigration regulations.
SCHOLARSHIP PERIOD

Scholarship support is generally provided during the first year of study.

Depending on academic performance and programme evaluation, the scholarship period may be extended for up to six additional months.

Maximum participation period: approximately 1 year and 6 months.
CONDITIONS FOR MAINTAINING THE SCHOLARSHIP
Students must:

Maintain an attendance rate of at least 90%

Comply with school regulations

Continue working at the designated workplace assigned by the programme

Avoid unauthorised absences from work or school

Pay any required fees on time

Maintain satisfactory academic and workplace performance
Failure to meet these requirements may result in the suspension or cancellation of scholarship benefits.
