1. EDUCATIONAL APPROACH AND STUDY PROGRAMMES
Minato Japanese Language School focuses not only on improving students’ Japanese language skills but also on helping them broaden their perspectives and develop themselves through learning Japanese.
The school provides classes according to students’ study goals. For students planning to enter university, the school offers classes preparing for the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU). For students interested in studying at a professional training college, the school offers classes covering the Business Japanese Proficiency Test (BJT).
Students attend four lessons per day, with each lesson lasting 45 minutes. Depending on their Japanese language level at the time of admission, students are assigned to either a morning or afternoon class.

The school has spacious classrooms with many windows, providing a comfortable learning space. The school is located in Minato Ward, Osaka, close to the sea.
The school has a library with a range of books, as well as a prayer room for Muslim students.

The school is located near the ward office, police station and hospital. There are also railway stations and shops providing services and products for everyday life in the surrounding area.
Places introduced by the school include Kaiyukan Aquarium and Yahataya Park, which has a swimming pool and other facilities.
There are also a number of restaurants offering reasonably priced meals, providing convenient options for students’ daily lives.
4. STUDENT DORMITORY
Minato Japanese Language School provides student accommodation. The dormitory offers Japanese-style and Western-style rooms, with two to three students sharing each room.
The dormitory fee is JPY 40,000 per month, including electricity, gas, water, internet, bicycle parking and fire insurance.
Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a refrigerator, microwave oven, IH cooker, washing machine, Wi-Fi, curtains, a desk and chairs.
In addition to the student dormitory, the school can also introduce apartments near the school to students who require alternative accommodation.
5. SCHOLARSHIPS
Minato Japanese Language School provides scholarships for students who achieve good academic results and attendance records and demonstrate a positive attitude towards their studies.
The school may also recommend eligible students for external scholarship programmes. The requirements vary depending on each scholarship programme.
