Expanding Cooperation for Japanese Language Study Opportunities in 2027

Recently, Tohoku Sông Đà visited Minato Japanese Language School in Osaka for a meeting and discussion on future cooperation.

During the meeting, both sides had a positive exchange of views on student recruitment for the school’s 2027 intakes, as well as support for Vietnamese students who wish to study in Japan and build a clear path towards their future careers.

Through this cooperation, Tohoku Sông Đà aims to introduce Minato Japanese Language School as another study option for students who wish to study and live in Osaka, while providing them with a more practical and clearly structured study-abroad pathway.

Minato Japanese Language School – A Convenient Choice in Osaka

Minato Japanese Language School is located in Minato Ward, Osaka. The school is approximately a 10-minute walk from Bentencho Station on the JR and Osaka Metro lines, making commuting convenient for international students. The surrounding area includes the ward office, police station, hospital, shops and other everyday facilities, creating a convenient environment for students.

The school is also located close to the sea and provides bright, spacious classrooms with large windows. Students can use a well-equipped library, while a prayer room is also available for Muslim students.

In terms of education, the school focuses not only on improving Japanese language skills but also on helping students broaden their perspectives and develop themselves through learning Japanese.

Students planning to enter university can take EJU preparation classes, while those aiming to attend vocational schools can study through BJT-focused classes. This allows students to prepare for their studies according to their individual career goals.

A Supportive Environment for International Students

Minato Japanese Language School focuses on creating an environment where students can feel comfortable both in their studies and daily life in Japan.

Many members of the school’s staff have overseas study experience themselves. Their personal experience allows them to provide students with practical support and advice throughout their time in Japan.

The area around the school also offers various places for students to enjoy their free time, including Kaiyukan Aquarium, Yahataya Park and a variety of reasonably priced restaurants.

The school dormitory offers Japanese- or Western-style rooms for two to three students. The monthly fee is 40,000 yen and includes electricity, gas, water, internet, bicycle parking and fire insurance. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a refrigerator, microwave, IH cooker, washing machine, Wi-Fi, curtains, desk and chairs.

Support for Part-time Jobs and Future Career Paths

In addition to Japanese language education, support for part-time work and future career planning is also an important part of helping international students build a stable life in Japan.

Through its cooperation with Minato Japanese Language School, Tohoku Sông Đà will continue to support students not only during their Japanese language studies but also when considering their future options, including further education and employment in Japan.

The school also offers scholarship opportunities based on academic performance, attendance and motivation. The Minato Excellence Award provides 50,000 yen, while the Minato Perfect Attendance Award provides 20,000 yen. Students may also have opportunities to receive external scholarships through school recommendation.

For students who wish to continue working in Japan after completing their Japanese language programme, Tohoku Sông Đà will also provide information about possible future pathways, including the Specified Skilled Worker (Tokutei) status of residence.
