NIPPON ACADEMY has officially opened applications for the April 2027 intake for international students who wish to study in Japan.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APRIL 2027 INTAKE

1. Vietnamese Registration and Interview

Applicants must first complete registration and attend an interview conducted in Vietnamese in order to reserve a place.

2. Japanese Interview and Written Test

A Japanese language certificate is not required.

However, applicants must be able to answer basic interview questions in Japanese and complete a written test equivalent to JLPT N5 level, with several questions at approximately N4 level.

3. Academic Performance

Applicants should have an academic average equivalent to 7.0 or above.

4. Clear Study Abroad Objectives

Applicants should be able to explain:

  • Why they wish to study in Japan

  • Why they have chosen Gunma Prefecture

  • Why they have selected NIPPON ACADEMY

  • Their future study and career plans

5. Participation of the Financial Sponsor

The applicant's sponsor or guarantor is required to participate in the interview process.

  • Direct participation at the centre is recommended and may strengthen the application.

  • If attending in person is not possible, participation via Microsoft Teams, Zalo, or another online platform is required.

REQUIRED APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

General Documents

Applicants must submit:

  • Completed application information as required by the school.

  • Academic transcripts and educational certificates.

Applicants Born in 2008

Additional documents required:

  • Temporary Graduation Certificate.

  • National High School Graduation Examination Candidate Number.

Former Technical Intern Trainees Returning from Japan

According to requirements from the Tokyo Immigration Bureau, applicants must meet both of the following conditions:

1. Proof of Completion of Technical Internship Training

Applicants must provide a certificate confirming successful completion of their Technical Intern Training Programme in Japan.

2. Relevant Work Experience in Vietnam

Applicants must have worked in Vietnam for at least one year after returning from Japan and, at the time of application, must be employed in the same industry as their previous technical internship occupation.
