The September 2026 intake of Meiho University is now accepting applications for programmes in Hospitality Management and Tourism-related fields. This programme is suitable for high school graduates who wish to study in Taiwan in a practice-oriented environment with a clear career-focused direction.

■ Admission Requirements

• High school diploma or higher

• GPA of 6.0 or above

• Priority given to applicants under 22 years old with no criminal record

• Academic ability suitable for the programme requirements

• No prior Taiwan study scholarship or participation in Taiwan labour programmes

Admissions are based on document screening, creating opportunities for many Vietnamese students to access international education without a complicated selection process.

■ Tuition and Standard Fees (Including Dormitory)

The fee structure is arranged according to each stage of study. Students will study Chinese language before entering their main specialised programme.

■ Scholarship Policy

• First semester (Year 1): Scholarship of 10,000 TWD (deducted directly from tuition), 100% dormitory fee waiver

• Second semester (Year 1): Scholarship of 10,000 TWD (deducted from tuition), 50% dormitory fee waiver

• From Year 2 to Year 6: Monthly scholarship of 3,000 TWD (subject to university conditions), students pay 50% of dormitory fees

This scholarship policy is designed to support international students during the initial stage of adaptation to a new learning environment.

■ Part-time Work Opportunities

Approximately 1.5 to 2 months after enrolment, students will receive university support to complete the necessary procedures for legal part-time work in accordance with Taiwan’s regulations.

Under current laws, international students are permitted to work within the legally allowed time limits. Part-time work provides practical experience and helps offset living expenses during the study period.

Meiho University is located in Pingtung County in southern Taiwan. The university traces its origins to Meiho Junior College of Nursing, established in 1966 as the first private nursing college in Taiwan. It was later upgraded to Meiho Institute of Technology in 2000 and officially became Meiho University in 2010.
