To enhance legal awareness and promote compliance with local regulations among Vietnamese citizens living and working in Japan, the Department of Overseas Labour under the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a notice encouraging sending organisations to disseminate information and motivate trainees and workers to participate in the Japan Legal Knowledge Contest 2026.

According to the announcement, the contest is jointly organised by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Public Security, and the Embassy of Vietnam in Japan. This meaningful initiative aims to help the Vietnamese community in Japan gain a better understanding of Japanese laws, thereby contributing to a safe, responsible, and law-abiding living and working environment.
The contest will be conducted online and consists of 25 multiple-choice questions and 2 essay questions. Participants can find detailed information and submit their entries through the official website: https://timhieuphapluatnhatban.com/
The submission period begins on 17 June 2026 and closes at 11:59 PM on 15 September 2026 (Japan Standard Time).
Tohoku Sông Đà Joint Stock Company encourages all trainees and workers currently living and working in Japan to actively take part in the contest. This is an excellent opportunity to strengthen legal knowledge, improve awareness of responsibilities, and contribute to building a positive image of Vietnamese citizens who respect and comply with Japanese laws.
