The end of June has brought more good news to Tohoku Song Da Joint Stock Company as our students continue to achieve positive milestones on their Japanese language learning journey.

Recently, Tohoku Song Da presented encouraging gifts to four students who successfully passed the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT):

• Le Duc Anh – JLPT N5

• Ngo Van Su – JLPT N5

• Nguyen Vy Hien – JLPT N5

• Le Van Thanh Vinh – JLPT N4

These certificates represent far more than examination results. They are the reward for months of consistent effort, dedication, and determination.

During the gathering, what delighted our teachers and training staff most was not simply the certificates themselves, but the confidence the students showed when introducing themselves and communicating in Japanese. Their ability to hold conversations naturally and confidently demonstrated the remarkable progress they have made through their hard work and perseverance.

There is a simple philosophy that applies perfectly to language learning:

"Improve by just 1% every day, and a year from now you will be far ahead of where you started."

Japanese is not a language that can be mastered within a few weeks or months. Success is built through small daily achievements: learning one more vocabulary word, understanding one more grammar pattern, or gaining the confidence to speak one more sentence. The N5 and N4 certificates these students have earned today are the result of that steady commitment and serve as a solid foundation for future achievements.

Looking back to their first days of study, many of these students were unfamiliar with even the Hiragana and Katakana alphabets or basic conversational phrases. Through persistence and determination, they gradually overcame those initial challenges and achieved results they can be proud of today.

Tohoku Song Da would like to congratulate Duc Anh, Van Su, Vy Hien, and Thanh Vinh on their accomplishments. We wish them continued success as they pursue higher levels of Japanese proficiency and move closer to their goals of studying and working in Japan.

If you are worried because you do not know any Japanese yet, or have never studied the language before, there is no need to feel discouraged. Most of the students celebrating their success today also started from zero.

What matters most is not where you begin, but whether you are willing to take the first step.
