WASEDA BUNKAKAN is a well-established Japanese language school with more than 30 years of history. It is recognised as a Class 1 school by the Immigration Services Agency of Japan. Located in Taito City, Tokyo, the school is just a five-minute walk from Asakusabashi Station, offering convenient access to Akihabara, Asakusa, and many universities and vocational colleges throughout Tokyo.
The school focuses on practical Japanese language education while preparing students for further study at universities, graduate schools, and vocational colleges in Japan. Student accommodation: Three months' accommodation fee payable in advance, with a minimum stay of six months
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must be under 30 years of age

High school GPA of 6.5 or above

Basic Japanese ability required for the admission interview (equivalent to completing at least the first 15 lessons of Minna no Nihongo)

Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N5 is required when submitting the application to the Immigration Services Agency

Applicants with a previously refused Certificate of Eligibility (COE) will not be accepted

Married applicants are not eligible

Former Technical Intern Trainees must have returned to their home country for at least one year, hold JLPT N4 or above, and provide all required supporting documents
IMPORTANT NOTES

An application screening fee of JPY 100,000 must be paid before the original application documents are submitted to the Immigration Services Agency.

This amount will be deducted from the first year's tuition fees after enrolment.
