Osaka Kokusai Academy Japanese Language School – South Campus is now accepting applications for the April 2027 intake from Vietnamese students who wish to study Japanese, pursue higher education, and build their careers in Japan.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum GPA of 7.0 throughout three years of upper secondary school.

• High school graduate or above.

• Under 25 years of age.

• No more than three years since graduation.

• Graduates from Continuing Education (GDTX) programmes are not accepted.

• Former Technical Intern Trainees (TITP) who have returned to their home country are not accepted.

• Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N5 is required for the admission interview.

JAPANESE LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE INTERVIEW

Applicants should demonstrate Japanese proficiency at approximately JLPT N5 level, including the ability to:

• Introduce themselves in Japanese.

• Answer simple questions from Japanese interviewers.

• Read and write both Hiragana and Katakana.

• Understand and use basic Japanese vocabulary and introductory Kanji.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR COE APPLICATION

When applying for the Certificate of Eligibility (COE), applicants must submit:

• A Japanese language certificate equivalent to JLPT N5.

• A certificate confirming completion of at least 150 hours of Japanese language study.

Note: Certificates from other Japanese language examinations are not accepted.

TUITION FEES AND STUDENT ACCOMMODATION

• Tuition fees are payable for one full academic year in accordance with the school's regulations.

• Dormitory fees must be paid three months in advance.

• The minimum dormitory stay is eight months.

The dormitory provides students with convenient accommodation upon arrival in Japan, allowing them to settle quickly and focus on their studies.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

If an applicant cancels their enrolment for any reason shortly before the COE application is submitted, after the COE application has been lodged, or after the COE has been issued, a cancellation fee of JPY 88,000 (8.8 man) will be charged in accordance with the school's regulations.
