IMPORTANT DEADLINES AND THINGS YOU MUST NOT MISS
At exactly 5:00 PM on 14 July 2026, the national university and college admission system will officially close. After this deadline, candidates will no longer be able to add, remove, edit, or rearrange any of their registered preferences.
To avoid unnecessary mistakes, candidates should complete the following tasks according to the timeline below.
From Now Until 5:00 PM on 14 July 2026: Review and Finalise Your Admission Preferences
This is the most important stage of the admission process.
Candidates should:
✅ Verify all personal information carefully.
✅ Check university codes, programme codes, admission methods, and subject combinations.
✅ Arrange preferences in the desired order of priority, as the system will only consider the highest-ranked preference for which the candidate meets the admission requirements.
✅ After making any changes, complete the OTP verification process. Changes will not be recorded in the system unless they are confirmed by OTP.
✅ Once everything is finalised, download and print the list of registered preferences for future reference and verification if necessary.

If These Steps Are Not Completed
-
You may accidentally select the wrong programme or arrange your preferences incorrectly.
-
Any changes that have not been confirmed via OTP will not be recognised by the system.
-
You may not have supporting records available if verification or clarification is required later.
From 15 July to 5:00 PM on 21 July 2026: Pay the Admission Processing Fee Online
After the preference registration period closes, candidates must complete the online payment of admission processing fees according to the instructions issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.
This step is mandatory.
If Payment Is Not Completed on Time
-
Registered preferences will not be included in the admission process.
-
Candidates may lose the opportunity to participate in the main admission round, even if they have successfully registered their preferences.
Before 5:00 PM on 13 August 2026: Check Admission Results
Universities and colleges will announce admission scores and the list of successful candidates for the first admission round.
Candidates should regularly monitor:
-
The Ministry of Education and Training admission portal.
-
The official website of the institution they have applied to.
Before 5:00 PM on 21 August 2026: Confirm Enrolment Online
Candidates who receive an admission offer must complete the online enrolment confirmation process within the prescribed timeframe.
If Enrolment Is Not Confirmed on Time
-
The admission offer will be cancelled.
-
The institution may allocate the place to candidates in subsequent admission rounds.
Important Reminders
-
Do not wait until the last minute before 5:00 PM on 14 July to make changes, as the system may experience heavy traffic.
-
Always double-check after entering the OTP to ensure that your updates have been successfully saved.
-
Keep a PDF copy or a printed version of your registered preferences for future reference.
-
Follow all key deadlines regarding fee payment, admission result announcements, and enrolment confirmation to protect your admission rights.
Just a few minutes spent reviewing your application today could make a significant difference to your future. Complete every step carefully and on time to maximise your chances of securing a place at your preferred university or college.
