Before travelling to Japan for work, practical skills and legal knowledge are just as important as Japanese language proficiency and vocational training. These essential life skills help technical intern trainees adapt more quickly to their new environment and form an important part of the pre-departure training programme organised by Tohoku Song Da Joint Stock Company.
During the training session, trainees were introduced to their rights and obligations under both Vietnamese and Japanese law. They learned that every trainee has the right to receive clear and complete information about the programme, employment conditions, salary, insurance, and other contractual terms before signing an agreement with the sending organisation in Vietnam and the accepting company in Japan. At the same time, trainees were reminded of their responsibilities to comply with the signed contracts, follow workplace regulations, and observe all applicable laws throughout their stay in Japan.

The course also covered fundamental aspects of Japanese law that directly affect daily life, including traffic regulations, proper waste separation, maintaining public order, respecting other people's privacy, and following company rules in the workplace. A good understanding of these legal requirements helps trainees avoid unnecessary violations while demonstrating professionalism, responsibility, and respect for Japanese society.
Another key topic was personal financial management. Trainees received practical guidance on planning a monthly budget, balancing income and living expenses, developing healthy saving habits, and avoiding unnecessary spending or debt. Effective financial management enables trainees to achieve their savings goals during their time in Japan and better prepare for their future after returning home.
Through its comprehensive pre-departure training programme, Tohoku Song Da Joint Stock Company aims to equip every trainee not only with language ability and professional skills, but also with legal awareness, essential life skills, and a strong sense of responsibility. These are the foundations that help trainees confidently integrate into Japanese society and build a successful future while living and working in Japan.
